Kattina Barsik is a force to be reckoned with in the world of intellectual property law. As a Registered Patent Attorney, she has spent nearly two decades safeguarding innovation, creativity, and business assets for her clients. From patents and trademarks to copyrights and IP strategy, Kattina provides businesses, entrepreneurs, and inventors with the legal firepower they need to protect what’s theirs and thrive in competitive markets.
Legal Expertise
Kattina is licensed to practice in New Jersey and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), giving her clients an edge in securing and enforcing their intellectual property rights. She is an active member of the New Jersey Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, the New Jersey Intellectual Property Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association, staying ahead in an ever-evolving legal landscape.
Education
Kattina’s journey into law is backed by a strong scientific foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Genetic Engineering from Cedar Crest College and worked in Comparative Medicine at Wake Forest University Medical Hospital before shifting her focus to intellectual property law. She later obtained her J.D. and L.L.M. in Intellectual Property Law from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, cementing her expertise in this highly specialized legal field.

When she’s not helping clients navigate the complexities of intellectual property law, Kattina enjoys life in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, where she resides with her husband and three children.
